A primary campaign for Zaynab Mohamed who ran in 2022 for a seat at the Minnesota State Senate.
As an immigrant, Zaynab saw firsthand how the government and its systems impacted the lives
of working-class people and families every day. She sought to represent and fight for the shared values of, immigrants, BIPOC communities, and working-class Minnesotans all over the state.
We brought her powerful mission that government should make life “easier, not harder” to the forefront,
a message that not only resonates with her on a personal level but with her community of voters.
Zaynab not only went on to win the Senate seat but also became the youngest woman and first Muslim woman ever elected to Minnesota’s state Senate.
Due to this huge win, she was featured on the
likes of CNN and Teen Vogue.
